Cadence Aerospace Announces the Expansion of Giddens Operations

Cadence Aerospace recently announced the expansion of their Giddens Operations Center of Excellence, located in Everett, WA. The expansion adds additional capabilities and equipment. Cadence Aerospace is committed to continued growth, adding new equipment and manufacturing space to meet or exceed the expectations of the market.

The Giddens Center of Excellence expansion will allow Cadence to fulfill the requirements of a recent contract with UTC Aerospace Systems to deliver high-quality, reliable and competitively priced structural components and assemblies for their Airbus A320 NEO aircraft program. The Giddens Center of Excellence expansion represents a substantial investment, expanding our product and service offerings, as well as our commitment to the Airbus 320 NEO aircraft program.

The Giddens Center of Excellence specializes in high-speed machining, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly and kitting for aerostructures. Giddens is equipped to manufacture: translating sleeve and fan cowl metallics, pylon metallics, welded inconel engine brackets, floor beams, stringers, chords, webs, straps, doublers, and monolithic structures and fittings.
